Love is Meant to be an Adventure {Winlock, WA Couple Photographer}

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Matt and Kyle. For me, it really felt like photographing royalty. For those who are unfamiliar with this power couple, Kyle with the help of his husband Matt, took it upon himself this year to be the voice for marginalized voices in our community. He founded the Lewis County Lollipop Guild, LLC, and began working towards bringing a more progressive voice in Lewis County. LCLG advocates for LGBTQ citizens, people of color and other marginalized voices. Kyle and his movement is the kind of change I personally have been waiting to see in this community I so love.

His husband Matt, clearly beams with pride when he starts to talk about Kyle's devotion to this cause and their relationship is something I think we can all strive for in both our own partnerships, as well stewards to our community; a beautiful combination of loving and supporting.

Matt and Kyle met me on my farm in Winlock, WA for one of my "farm sessions" and we wandered through the pastures and into the forest and captured some wonderful images that I think greatly represent the depth of Matt and Kyle's relationship.
